A year ago I recommended the 7×7 Scripture memory strategy. After failing to keep up with it myself in 2009, I decided to revise it for 2010 and make it a little more doable.
So this year I’m trying the 6×6 strategy (PDF). It’s just like the 7×7 method, but with a built-in day of rest each week.
Wanna join me?

Sounds good. I got a little more than half way through the year with the 7X7. I think it was helpful for me but 6X6 will probably be a little more doable. Thanks!

Thanks Tyler for recommending a proven system. Your experience testimony is encouraging. I’m going to give it a try! Memorizing became difficult once I passed 60 years of age, but I long to learn God’s word to mediate as I grow old with God.

My pleasure, guys. I’m encouraged to hear your eagerness to learn God’s word, and grateful I can recommend some potentially helpful tools.

I’m on. Last year I made it from mid Feb to mid Sept. It was depressing to have flunked out in Sept, but I am truly thankful for having memorised the verses I did.
With renewed vigour, I sincerely look forward to your emails which are so helpful to begin meditation on the verses concerned.
